Macao, 1837 & 1844 entire letters from Macao to London and Chichester, England, the former showing "Liverpool/Ship Letter" h.s. on reverse and rated "1/2", and the 1844 entire sent "via Marseille" and Bombay with "India" red oval h.s. and rated "2/3", fine pair of early letters showing different routings.

Macao, 1858 (Apr.) envelope (with original enclosure in Persian script) to Bombay (16.5) showing light, fine small "Paid/at/Hong Kong" Crowned Circle in red (Webb type 11), with "Hong Kong" (22.4) and "Bombay" double-arc d.s. on reverse, rated "4" (over "8"). Although stated to be written in Macao, this letter was probably posted in Hong Kong.

Macao, 1882 (13 June) envelope "Via Shanghai" and Hong Kong (14.6) to the Portuguese Legation, Yokohama (22.6 Japanese P.O. on reverse) redirected to Tokyo (native h.s.) showing "Crown/Macao" double-ring origin d.s. (Webb type C, RRR) and bearing Hong Kong Q.V. 5c. pale blue (few peripheral faint tones) lightly cancelled "B62", folded vertically at centre and small part of backflap removed (not affecting markings), an extremely rare and desirable example of the last datestamp sent to Macao by the G.P.O. in London.

Macao, 1908-48 envelopes (4) to Hong Kong and black-and-white real photo postcard (Macau shoreline) to Germany bearing Don Carlos I 4a., three of the envelopes (two of which are registered) bear Don Carlos I 6a. on 200r. and 3a. bisects (one in combination with 1910 surcharges on Postage Dues) while a second registered envelope bears 6a. on 200r.
