Powerful display of Grand Duke William 1st Issues, with multiple examples arranged by extensive shades, including 27 copies of #1 with a strips of 3 and 4; #2 with 22 examples including in various shades including 2 "blood red", one with Demuth cert; wide range of Coat of Arms issues, with Frankfurt Print examples, rouletted and rouletted in color; Luxembourg Print with Narrow Margins; Haarlem Print with Wide Margins; all with multiple copies including high values; also extensive Officials, including many inverted overprints, identified by Printings, perf varieties, etc., and including many mint; this collection has enormous catalog value, and virtually all genuine as this collector was an expert; close inspection strongly recommended.
