Group of 4 Topical Collections, starting with a group of 4 Canadian covers dated between 1858 and 1877 as well as 4 modern Ireland stamps, all related to the life story of Dr William Canniff who became the first permanent medical health officer for Toronto. The second lot is on Canadian Pacific Railway employee sketches and consists of one postcard featuring the sketch of a telegraph messenger and two Canadian Pacific telegram covers. The third group, made up of 26 covers from 1966 to 2003 is the result of an effort to obtain postmarks from locations considered the furthest cardinal points in Canada and we noted postmarks from Eureka (N.W.T), Alert, (N.W.T) Burwash (Yukon), Pouch Cove (Nfld) and more. The last topical collection made of approximately 50 covers featuring Alexander Graham Bell and the telephone. While we noted some covers from Australia, Ceylon, Luxembourg, Israel and New Zealand, most are from Canada featuring the Bell stamp #274, with different cachets, etc. Interesting lot overall fine to very fine.
