2c BLACK JACK COLLECTION, includes 308 singles and multiples, neatly sorted into a small stock book, this collection has numerous better cancels including some colored cancels, there are also many grills which are sorted into the #73's but they have not be checked for grill type, in addition there are three on covers, the overall condition is very, very nice with many Very Fine or better stamps, there are some scattered faults but for the most part a very nice looking group, the catalog value is our estimate and it is likely low once all the grills are figured in, a wonderful lot for the specialist in this area, there are perhaps at least 50 stamps which would retail $100 or more due to condition or fancy cancels, don't let this one slip by (Image)

MASSIVE U.S. COLLECTIONS GROUP, includes 90 various albums packed into seven large cartons, stockbooks and groups of album pages, mixed mint and used but about 70% used, the albums are of various sizes, this massive group has a little bit of everything from front to the back of the book, maybe some minor scattered worldwide mixed in, there should be several hundred if not thousands of dollars in face value, the overall condition is mixed and there are faults to be expected, this group was put together by a collector who wanted to go into the stamp business selling collection lots, the overall total catalog value will be staggering with some of the collections catalog only a few hundred dollars up to some in the thousands of dollars, there are plenty of common stamps here but we saw items which cataloged over $500 here and there, it is our estimate the average retail value per album should be in the $150-250 range with some less and some more, this group will keep the show dealer, internet dealer or mail sale operator busy for quite some time, (ENV 5,000-7,500) (Image)
