2c BLACK JACK COLLECTION, includes 308 singles and multiples, neatly sorted into a small stock book, this collection has numerous better cancels including some colored cancels, there are also many grills which are sorted into the #73's but they have not be checked for grill type, in addition there are three on covers, the overall condition is very, very nice with many Very Fine or better stamps, there are some scattered faults but for the most part a very nice looking group, the catalog value is our estimate and it is likely low once all the grills are figured in, a wonderful lot for the specialist in this area, there are perhaps at least 50 stamps which would retail $100 or more due to condition or fancy cancels, don't let this one slip by (Image)

U.S. 1851 ISSUE #10's & 11's ACCUMULATION, includes 665 singles and multiples, neatly sorted into a small stockbook, virtually all used with a couple of no gums, a incredible array of cancels and shades, we figured at least 20 were #10's but there are probably more, we noticed dozens of better shades, at least 100 better cancels are here, in addition there are over 20 margin singles along with a few on piece and one cover, the overall condition is pretty clean for this type of lot but there are some faults to be expected, we noticed dozens of Very Fine+ singles and copies with four margins, it appears the collector was accumulating stamps he liked with the plan of working this group up perhaps into a mounted specialized collection, a wonderful opportunity for the specialist in this area, one of the better 3c 1851 groups we have ever offered, the catalog value is our estimate but once all the varieties, cancels and shades are figured this number is likely to be much higher (Image)
