The first, and more valuable, is a run of “The Southern Philatelist” from 1924 to 1932 (missing 1929 and 1931, but includes one that is only the advertisements) in 8 bound volumes. These were published by Confederate stamp expert August Dietz and contain a wealth of information on the subject. Also here is a self-published book by Raynor Hubbell titled “Confederate Stamps, Old Letters and History”. The second part consists of 7 small binders of US precancel catalogs that may or may not be complete sets. (Image)
