Who was later to become Governor of Liberia, written and signed letter from New York to Benjamin Coates in Philadelphia, Pa., red "New York, Jan 10" cds and "12½" rate, with interesting content regarding donations of furniture and supplies for Government House in Liberia; few minor edge nicks, F.-V.F.
