1836-1917 balance of the George Shalimoff's Imperial covers collection, 90 covers or cards in three binders, with several stampless, including Russia No.2 used from Moscow, boxed 1st Division three-line departure datestamp, another pen canceled, other Moscow town cancels, three and four-color combination frankings, 3k "V" in background on cover, St. Petersburg dot cancels, insured Wax Seal letters, registered covers, used in Finland, advertising cachets, 1899 7k advertising Empress Maria lettersheet used from Peterhof, 1851 10k stationery envelope from St. Petersburg to Vilnius, Ship mail cards "Parokhod Perm-Nizhniy" to San Francisco, two others "Batum-Odessa", one to Italy, covers franked with 1915 semi-postals, also Russian Offices in China, cover from Tientsin to London, another from Chifu to USA, Russian Levant cover from Smyrna to Aleppo, with Ottoman dues added on arrival, other registered covers from Constantinople to USA (Yaremdji correspondence), "Collect on Delivery" and "Express" labels on cards, 1918 Paquebot cover postmarked Tsuruga, Japan, plus many others, mostly written-up on pages, generally fine. 1913 Romanov Tercentenary, the George Shalimoff five-frame Exhibit collection on pages, with 1k-5r unused, four die proofs, each individual value shown where it was used to pay a specific rate, purpose of use, letter, postcard, etc., ordinary mail, registered letters, stationery cards, printed matters, postage dues, postal money orders, telegraph money orders, domestic and foreign parcels, Collect-on-Delivery, insured declared value mail, postings at railroad stations, aboard trains, ships, special services, wartime censorship and special Mute cancelations, overpaid and underpaid, destinations, including China and Japan, registered mail from Finland, Russian Offices in Shanghai, there are three items franked with 5r, also with surcharged values, all neatly written-up, well selected and exceptional collection of the popular pictorial issue from Imperial Russia. In addition, there are three large albums which formed the basis from which exhibit items were removed and it includes used and unused sets, cancelation studies, perfins, large multiples of Romanov currency stamps, Registry markings, varieties, 150+ covers and stationery entire envelopes, used in Finland, 30 covers and dozens of stamps with mute cancels identified, parcel address cards, postal cards and wrappers, overprinted Romanov stamps for use in Levant, 20 covers with variety of frankings and ROPIT Constantinople markings, Romanov stationery cards surcharged "10kop" (1919 RSFSR Issue), annulled Romanov envelopes and cards (Soviet Philatelic Agency), overprinted for use in Ukraine and Far Eastern Republic, beautiful Romanov picture postcards, 21 Imperial Romanov Visit to France, covers and cards, plus balance of the "Abdication" overprints, with 9 Phrygian Hat overprinted stamps and covers and 6 Abdication overprinted blocks (Cat No. 88-104) (Image)
