Revenues. c.1891 "Revenue Revenue" Master Die Proof with blank value tablets, in black on white glazed card, 92x60mm. This Key Plate design was produced by De La Rue as part of their campaign to standardise colonial issues but was not adopted by any colony during the QV period; Seychelles later adopted the design, issuing stamps with the head of KEVII (see lots 884 & 1443) or KGV in this type.
