1d Die II perforated plate proof in green on ungummed unwatermarked paper ACSC 3PP(2)A, well centred, some irregular perfs, minor thin at upper-right, Cat $10,000. Rare: the ACSC states that nine examples have been recorded of which three are institutionalised.
1d red Die IIA block of 12 (6x2) from the top of the R/H pane with all six upper units affected by Double Perfs on Three Sides ACSC 4b, the last unit [R12] is defective, the gum a little aged but unmounted, Cat $3500+. [Stated to be from Plate K]
£2 black & rose-carmine ACSC 55a (SG 16), well centred, a couple of tiny imperfections still an attractive example of a stamp that is missing from most collections, Cat $12,500 (£6500).
PUNCTURED SMALL 'OS': 9d violet ACSC #24Abb block of 4, well centred, two light bends across the lower units,a few light tonespots mainly affecting the creased units, unmounted, Cat $6000+ as singles. Rare block. The illustration is above Lot 36.
