10/- grey & pink (faint eosin reaction), £1 grey (marginal, from the top of the sheet) and 'SPECIMEN' set, variable centring, unmounted, Cat $7750 (£1190, for mounted).

10/- grey & pink ACSC 50A (SG 136) block of 4, well centred and of exceptional freshness, unmounted, Cat $11,000+ (£1800++, for mounted), for singles. Superb. Ex 'Dubois' (I): sold for SFr2925.
10/- grey & pink (faint UV reaction) ACSC 50A (SG 136) with the Kangaroo Misplaced to Right (Dipping its Tail into the Pacific Ocean), pulled perf at upper-right, superb Sydney cds of -JA38, Cat $300 (£160) for normal. Misplaced Kangaroos are not listed in the ACSC for the Small Multiple or CofA Watermarks, indicating that Thomas Harrison (probably) overcame the wandering vignette problem during the Third Wmk period. This is therefore a technically significant item.
10/- dark grey & aniline pink ACSC 50E (SG 136var) marginal block of 4 from the right of the left-hand pane, the lower units better centred, unmounted, Cat $11,000+ for mounted singles: unpriced unmounted. A rare block.
10/- grey & aniline pink with 'SPECIMEN' Type C overprint ACSC 50x (SG 136s), quite well-centred, small hinge remainder, Cat $850. The ACSC states that the Type C overprint "is found only in the grey & pink shade, and was made in July 1932 and comprised 1200 stamps" and that the aniline pink shades "are believed to comprise the last printing made in December 1937". Accordingly, the Type C overprint should not occur on an aniline pink shade. This stamp appears to contradict that conclusion.
10/- £1 and £2 'SPECIMEN' Type D overprint blocks of 4 ACSC 50xg 54xa & 58xa, the upper units are very lightly mounted and the lower units are unmounted, Cat $6250+, for mounted blocks of 4. Ex 'Dubois' (I): sold for SFr1950.
