5/- grey & yellow-orange John Ash Imprint block of 4 with Open-Mouth Kangaroo Pos [R55] ACSC 46za, exceptional centring for an imprint piece, the upper units are lightly mounted, the lower units are unmounted, Cat $5500+ for mounted. Superb. [Better centred than either of Stuart Hardy's similar blocks that sold for $2679 each]
10/- grey & pink John Ash Imprint block of 4 with Open-Mouth Kangaroo Pos [R55] ACSC 50za, the lower right unit very lightly mounted, the other three units are unmounted, Cat $10,000+ for mounted.
10/- grey & pink with Type C 'SPECIMEN' Oberprint with Shaved 'P' of 'SPECIMEN' ACSC 50xd, very lightly mounted, Cat $2000. [Only 1200 Type C overprints were prepared, in blocks of 30 x40. Therefore, only 40 examples of this variety can exist]
£1 grey John Ash Imprint block of 4 with Retouched Lower Frames Pos [L60 & R55] ACSC 54z, minor bends at lower left that intrude on the lower left unit, the left-hand units with some very minor gum aging, the upper units very lightly mounted, the lower units are unmounted, Cat $17,500+ for mounted. Rare. The ACSC states "there are probably not more than a dozen imprint blocks of 4". We are confident that the £1 imprint block is scarcer than its more highly regarded £2 sibling.
