1912 'IDEAL STAMP' LABEL STUDY: A mainly mint, imperf. & perf. 57-page study on album pages detailing the reason for and the production of the souvenir label sold for 1d during the 1912 Jubilee International Stamp Exhibition. The study includes 1911/12 KGV ½d green & 1d red 'Downey head' design (6 - one of each for Die 1A, 1B & 2), a number of different colour examples of the 'Ideal' design (inc. shades of blues, violets, reds, oranges, pinks, browns, etc.), various paper types/colours, double-printings, blocks of four or more (inc. imperf. plate number block of 15 from the bottom RH corner of complete sheet), margin blocks, postcards showing the new design (inc. a set of 7 complete with envelope), Victor Short advert. labels, covers with the stamp used postally, a complete imperf. sheet, and a number of International Stamp Exhibition 1912 special postmarks.
