1d deep carmine-rose Harrison Printings with the Watermark Inverted ACSC 74Aa (SG 50aw), quite well-centred, partial Sydney machine cancel, Cat $5000 (£3000). The ACSC states that "Used stamps are very rare". The first example we have offered in more than twenty years, when two less well-centred examples sold at our auction of 19.7.2003 for $5376 & $5600 respectively. Scott Starling Certificate (2023) states "a fine and very rare example with a contemporary Sydney cancel".

Arthur Gray's block of 4 - one unit unmounted - sold for $1088.
