½d green complete sheet with 'CA' Monogram both sides ACSC 65(4)zf and all ACSC-listed varieties, centring variable, the left-hand monogram slightly trimmed at base, minor annotations in the margins, some folds & minor edge faults in the margins including two small creases at lower-left, around a dozen hinge remainders on the face of the upper & lower margins, some perf splitting & about a half-dozen units affected by some perf reinforcing on the reverse, the other units unmounted, Cat $6,000+ for the dual 'CA' monogram strip of 12 & listed varieties mounted plus 6 mounted & 86 unmounted singles. The ACSC states of the 'CA' monogram both sides strips from Electros 4 & 5 that "approximately 20 strips of 12 have survived [in total]" (our emphasis) but does not give a break-down between the electros. Nor does it state how many are known in complete sheets. Andrew Johnston's fine to very fine yellow-green Electro 4 complete sheet with dual 'CA' monograms sold at our auction of 19.9.2023 for $4080.

½d green Electro 4 'CA' Monogram right corner strip of 3 ACSC 65(4)zb in a strip of 6 including White Spot before '2' in Right Value Tablet [Pos 4R55] and White Spot between 'TA' of 'POSTAGE' [Pos 4R56], centring variable, the monogram slightly trimmed at base, three units with small hinge remainders, the others unmounted, Cat $900+ for a mounted monogram strip of 3 and two mounted varieties.
½d dull green Electro 5 with Cracked Electro from left Wattles to Kangaroo's Back [Pos 5L46] ACSC 65(5)ka (SG 48c), quite well-centred, large-part NSW '27SE18' cds cancel slightly impinging on the variety, Cat $650 (£375). This is one of the last states with the crack now splitting the Kangaroo's nose away from its face and the oval above 'AU' of 'AUSTRALIA' distorted & almost joined to the letters below. In this instance, the crack continues down from the Kangaroo's forearm, almost reaching its back. Andrew Johnston's similar example sold at our auction of 19.9.2023 for $252.
