An 1871 to the late 1960’s mint and used Japan collection/accumulation housed in a Scott album, a few binders, and stock pages. Includes many complete sets, some key souvenir sheets, and a few covers that appears to be assembled by a knowledgeable collector. Condition a little mixed with some toning. A great assembly looking for a new album and further organization. (Image)

Three hand painted cacheted long style covers (no letters) addressed to a young lady in Madison, Wisconsin. All three are done in the style of the famous artist Karl Lewis and two of which show his chop mark. Unlike anything we have ever seen, so offered together as a set. Roughly opened and soiled lightly from their journey across the Pacific carrying a silk sample. Desirable. (Image)
