1920 Lady Supreme 1s orange-yellow and red-orange with error frame inverted, defective and affixed to piece with forged Kingston cds, oxidised colour, very rare with fewer than twenty examples known to exist, a presentable example of this important and popular rarity, cert. BPA (1991) (S.G. £25'000 as used). Note: The "Inverted Frame" was discovered by a local collector at the small post office in Manchioneal, a village on the coast of Jamaica in March 1922. It is believed that only one sheet of sixty had the error, with half of the sheet going to Manchioneal. (Image)
