NAHARIYA SOUVENIR SHEET, Bale#I99, Uncut proof sheet of 3. Each sheetlet missing top left stamp of 20m Red. All three sheetlets with double text print at top in Hebrew, and bottom English. Sheet w/o gum and with some stains, wrinkles and small tear at top. Extremely rare this item is probably only one known to exist as uncut three sheets with errors. (Image)

NAHARIYA LOCAL ISSUES, Delightful collection on stock pages in album, both by stamp issues and by postmarks, with a great deal of completion and depth: 1st Issue: mint Tete-beche sheets (8, at least 2 each, one 10m & 50m imperf, one 20m imperf vertically), non-tete-beche sheet of 50m, 10m and two 20m printed only at left, 50m proof with double impression of sheet at left, then 6 sheets on unaddressed covers with 10m and 50m imperf sheets (one each), finally 22 covers incl. 8 “set covers” and rest mostly mixed frankings (usually for delivery in Haifa) of Mandate or other interim issues 2nd Issue: mint sheetlets of 4, plus same on cover, plus 7 covers incl. 6 “set covers” (one with add’l Doar Ivri frankings used on First Day) 3rd Issue: used set plus 10m tied to reg’d cover from Argentina, 11m to cover from Tel Aviv Souvenir Sheet: error print with only 50m and frame of 20m, black proof of frames and inscriptions only, error print with 10m on gum side, 6 sheets incl possible proof on whitish paper and another with plate variety (Bale 119b) and one on large mixed franking cover Postal History: presentation of the interim local postmarks, Bale C1/C7, incl. PROOF of the rare C1 on Gestetner wmk paper (also proofs of C3 & C6), C2 on large package cover (Bale $5’000), a total of 14 items with only 3 being type C7, also 10m Doar Ivri roulette tied by Nahariya mandate-type cds of 16 May, 1948 (First Day of issue) Some certificates (mostly Muentz) throughout.
