1911 (Feb 18) Allahabad First Aerial Post, cover to Dharmsala franked QV 3p grey and KEVII ½a (2 pairs) + 1a (2), the seven stamps cancelled by three strikes of the special pictorial Aerial Post handstamp in magenta, Allahabad and Dharmsala backstamps. Addressed to Simla with KEV11 ½a cancelled by the special pictorial Aerial Post handstamp in magenta, datestamps of Allahabad and Simla. 1912 (July 23) Great Britain Daily Mail Waterplane Flight, picture postcard of a Henry Farman Waterplane flown during the Daily Mail Waterplane Circuit, the message reading "This is leaving here today by the Aerial Post", bearing the large cachet "CARRIED BY / DAILY MAIL / WATERPLANE" in black. Franked KGV ½d cancelled at Weymouth, addressed to a soldier in India with postage due handstamps applied in London and India, octagonal "BARRACKPORE / UNPAID" arrival datestamp (Aug 12). A rare flown card to a remarkable destination; indeed the first flown Daily Mail Waterplane Circuit card we have seen to any overseas destination. An exceptional item. Photo on Page 164. (Image1)

1920 (Jan 23) Karachi to Bombay experimental air service, 2½a large size (4x10 inches) registration envelope flown from Karachi to The Thornton Pickard Manufacturing Co. in England, endorsed "Per Aerial Service" and franked KGV ½a (2) + 8a, the stamps and cover tied by the Karachi Air Post c.d.s, London backstamp (Feb 11). An unusual registered cover carried on the first flight, which appears to be commercial, three vertical folds and opened out, otherwise fine and attractive.

1920 Bombay to Karachi experimental air service, registered cover franked 8a + 2a6p carried on the third flight with Feb. 10 Air Post c.d.s; and a cover franked ½a + 2a + 3a pair carried on the sixth flight with Mar. 12 Air Post c.d.s , Karachi Air Post backstamps, two unusually fine covers. (2).

1925 (Jan 15) Risalpur to Calcutta R.A.F Demonstration Flight, cover flown from Ambala to Dharamtalla and posted upon arrival franked 1a, endorsed "By Aeroplane from Ambala" and "By Air R.C.M.P" by Wing Commander Pink, backstamped at Calcutta and signed by Stephen Smith. 1925 (Feb 8) Anglo-Indian Survey Flight by Alan Cobham, 1a postal stationery envelope flown from Rangoon to Akyab and onto Calcutta, cancelled at Rangoon with an Akyab c.d.s on the front, backstamped at Calcutta, signed "Alan J. Cobham". 32 Covers were flown, 23 of these being initialled by Cobham and just nine signed by him. A little minor staining from another cover, otherwise fine and scarce. Photo on Page 164. (Image1)

1926 (Apr 4) Copenhagen to Tokyo flight by the Danish aviators Lts. Botved and Herschend, cover flown from Calcutta to Bangkok bearing three uncancelled 1a stamps and a flight vignette, with violet oval "KGL.
