According to Fred Gregory's "Post Office in Paradise" website, There are only four examples of a Ulupalakua postmark recorded. One being the unique manuscript postmark (801) and three examples of the 30mm double lined outer and single lined inner circle date stamp (281.011) with another example of this postmark (EKU) being offered by us just last year. Phelps, Davenport Iowa bearing U.S. 3¢ rose (65) and 5¢ brown (76), stamps uncancelled at Honolulu and each tied by San Francisco cogwheel fancy cancels, stamps uncancelled at Honolulu, "Muscatine Ioa., Aug 8 '64" transit cds and manuscript "Missent & For'd", stamps additionally tied by Muscatine targets, carried on the Onward that departed Honolulu Jun. 18th to San Francisco arriving Jul. 9th; edge faults including small pieces out and small tears, otherwise Fine, Fine and scarce use prepaid at double the 3¢ letter rate plus 2¢ ship fee, ex-Golden.
