Horizontal strip of three used in combination with 1878, 1¢ violet, three singles on portions of ruled lined paper of what appears to be a registered wrapper usage to Hannover, Germany, target canceled with magenta "Honolulu, Hawaii, Jun 30, 1883" cds and matching registry handstamp, piece mounted on card, some perf toning, otherwise Very Fine, a rare registered multiple rate wrapper usage, probably paying the 11 times the 3¢ rate for each 2oz.'s of newspaper plus 10¢ registry and 5¢ return receipt fees (Hawaii had no A.R. handstamp in use untill 1892).
