Hawaii, 1865, 5¢ Blue on Blue, cleat to large margins, tied by three-ring target handstamp on cover to Columbia Springs, N.Y., in combination with U.S. 1863, 5¢ brown tied by both Honolulu and S.F. Target cancels, red "Honolulu, U.S. Postage Paid, Sep 4" cds and "San Francisco, Cal., Oct 10" cds; light cover stains and U.S. 5¢ with a couple nibbed perfs at bottom, F.-V.F.; with 2016 P.F. certificate. Scott No. 22+U.S. 76  $9,250. A RARE MIXED FRANKING OF THE HAWAIIAN 1865 5¢ NUMERAL ISSUE AND THE UNITED STATES 1863 5¢ ISSUE. This letter was sent from Honolulu on September 5th aboard the bark "Sarita", arriving at San Francisco on October 5, 1866.
