Indistinct 1890 town cancel, full even margins all around, bold true color, Very Fine, a great Large Hermes Head rarity as this is the only known used example of the Athens Provisional 2l dark brown on straw; with 1977 R.P.S. certificate. SG No. 9a. Karamitsos No. 10Ia. Vlastos No. 8Y. Scott No. 9a  Estimate $3,000 - 4,000. This stamp is accompanied by six letters between 1969 and 1985 from the Royal Philatelic Society, the British Philatelic Society, Sherman E. Rogers and Pandelis J.
