1841 1d red-brown imperf on lightly blued paper, 4 margins, just tied at one point to wrapper by complete (heavy) MC cancel which has 2 unusual protuberances at top. "CARNOUSTIE" good/fine rect d/s SE 30 / 1841 also on front. B/s less clear strike of partial Dundee receipt d/s. Clean.

1867 5/- pale rose, uncoloured corner letters (ED/DE), plate 1, MC wmk. Canc "S" in 3 circle telegraph obliterator. With 5mm edge tear. A presentable gap filler. SG 127. Cat £675. GU. (Image)
