Lovely Collection of Mint Never hinged 1946 Numeral Definitive Plate Inscription Pairs, with a variety of denominations to the 1m (we counted 24 diff.), all in mint never hinged lower marginal pairs (position 95-96) with plate inscriptions. A fresh group which contains a total of 172 pairs. There is a special section in the Michel catalogue for these items, and the catalogue values go into the hundreds of Euros per pair, depending on denomination or specific plate inscription (unchecked by us). Accumulation of Mint Never Hinged Germany Weimar Inflation Period Stamps, 1921-1923, in a thick binder, consisting of a few thousand stamps in roughly 100 Vario-style stock pages. The accumulation contains single issues including airmails, semi-postals, and officials, along with blocks and larger multiples. We note a mixture of plate and rotary printings, with many multiples having top and side sheet selvedge, showing the various value summations, group columns, 4-digit counters, and side margin protection (including some advertisements in the plate printings). Many of the stamps have been identified by the owner using Scott and Michel catalogue numbers. Collection / Accumulation of Used Germany, 1872-1945, with a few thousand stamps in a KABE album, stockbook, and home made pages in a binder. The collection begins with the KABE album containing classics up to 1945 (with most stamps having c.d.s. cancels), and selections of back of the book material including semi-postals, airmails officials, etc. We note just a few of the better stamps with Scott #s 3a, 4-5, 7, 9-11 (c.v. $577 total), 14, 16-20, 23, 25, 27 ($649 total), along with stamps, sets, and partial sets, cataloguing from $10 to $40 and up including #s 36b ($60), 137-155 ($62 total), 299, 301 ($79 total). Owner's 2022 Scott catalogue value in excess of $2,700. The lot continues with a stockbook with roughly 4,000 stamps, ranging from the 1880s to the 1940s, with better representation from Bavaria, Wurttemberg, inflation period Germany, semi-postals, airmails and officials, etc., along with album pages containing roughly 300 used Germany, from the 1870s onward. The lot includes five red boxes of Germany, a red box of Semi-Postals and back of the book stamps, two red boxes of DDR, and a half filled box of Berlin, with material generally ranging from the 1870s to 2010. Duplication generally ranges from 1 to 10, and we roughly estimate there to be 20% mint stamps and 80% used stamps. Germany and Berlin Mint and Used Collections, in four sections; a fairly complete mint and used Germany collection from 1969 to 2002 housed in a Lighthouse springback album, a Germany collection over half complete from 1976 to 1990 which is almost entirely neatly c.d.s. on Lighthouse pages and a Berlin collection from 1963 to 1979 which is about 90% complete and entirely mint never hinged housed in a Schaubek springback album. A collection on Lighthouse pages from 1962 to 1976, a little over half complete of mostly used stamps, many of which have pleasing c.d.s. postmarks.
