On special 5pf Germania postal card prepared especially for the Inauguration of the Olympic Stadium with commemorative stadium vignette at bottom left, Very Fine and choice, one of the great Olympic rarities. Estimate  $1,500 - 2,000. The 6th Olympiad was awarded to Berlin. To accommodate the Games a stadium was constructed in Berlin-Grunewald, and on June 8, 1913, the opening ceremony of the stadium was attended by Kaiser Wilhelm II.
