1900 usage of German 5pf(+5pf) Postal Card with 'Deutsch-/Neu-Guinea' overprint to Frankfurt with 5pf Numeral 'Deutsch-/Neu-Guinea' overprint added tied 'MATUPI/30/12/00' cds, short message on back, partial arrival cds, very minor blemishes.

1912 cover to Sydney endorsed "p S.M.S. Cormoran" with Yachts 20pf tied 'RABAUL/DEUTSCH-/NEU GUINEA/1 OC/12' cds, "MF" wax seal on back, Sydney 'OCT/11/...1912' arrival b/s, minor blemishes. [The Cormoran I was a German cruiser engaged in survey & policing cruises between the German South Pacific Colonies, stopping frequently in Sydney for supplies and maintainance. In late-1914, she was scuttled in Tsingtau Harbour & her armaments were transfered to the Cormoran II, which in turn was scuttled at Guam in 1917 after the USA declared war on Germany]
