Includes: four albums of pre 1940 German covers each saved for a reason, a coverbook with forces in Belgium WWI cards, a few more cover books one with some odd and unusual postal history, two cartons of worldwide with interesting Luxembourg, German States, and pre 1990 postal history, and even a couple Zeppelin covers buried in the jumble. Over 2,100 individual items, most with single cover eBay potential. Lots of $5-$50 items among the mainly better than dollar covers. An interesting and impressive group of covers and other documents. There are first flight covers from Ireland and Canada as well as first day covers from Israel and the Vatican. It also includes stampless covers from Great Britain. The most unusual items are two British documents from the 1800s one being a lease. Another is a ‘friendship letter’ to Captain Mitsuo Fuchida and signed by Captain Fuchida who led the attack on Pearl Harbor. A close inspection is encouraged to appreciate this historical assemblage. Nine volume Scott international collection with issues to the early 1970’s both mounted and in mounts. Some countries are quite full others not so much. There was an owner’s count for six of the seven albums which totaled 35,000. The albums range from serviceable to falling apart.
