Germany C32, 1m Black and Salmon on Graf Zeppelin Flight Cover, VF-XF tied to A.C. Roessler cacheted airmail cover with an on-board "LUFTSCHIFF/13.10.1929/GRAF ZEPPELIN" dc bridge ccl. Cover also with red boxed "Mit Luftschiff "Graff Zeppelin" beforedert" hs and a red brown "AMSTERDAM/13*x*'20/PERLUCHTPOST/OVERGEBRACHT/2" hs which includes a propeller. The cover with Roessler silver cachet "Im/Zepplin-Luftschiff" and a Zeppelin flying through clouds. VIA/PARACHUTE" typed in maroon in upper left corner which refers to the manner of dropping a bundle of covers from the air ship over Amsterdam, Netherlands with a parachute to be retrieved by postal employees and mailed to their final destinations. On reverse, in red "AN BORD DES/LUFTSCHIFFES/13 OKT.1929/GRAF ZEPPELIN" cds ccl. Sieger cat. #41.B, cv €200 about $210, which does not allow for the cachet (Image)
