GB Used Abroad; Chile. 1869 envelope to France bearing on reverse a strip of seven 1d rose-red Plate 95, tied by fairly indistinct C30 numerals of Valparaiso and a single CDS. Bordeaux arrival also ties the strip, which has been scissor-separated in places resulting in some clipped perfs; the envelope somewhat spotty and oily on the front but an unusual franking.
