1869 Napoleon 5Fr bue-grey Michel #32, well-centred and fine used with circular datestamp, Cat €1000. Appears to be a sound stamp, however, light water-staining on back suggests either a hinge was ineptly removed or perhaps a repair, so necessarily offered 'as is' at a reduced estimate.

1870-1871 Ceres Bordeaux Issue 40c orange imperf Michel #43, four margins, small natural paper inclusion, light gum crazing, expertising handstamp on back, Cat €500.

The error occured due to one 15c cliché being inadvertantly inserted into the plate of 10c stamps, and was corrected during the printing.
