Belgian Offices in China, 1908 proposed "Chine" overprint type I on Belgium 10c., "Chine" surcharge type II (10 mm. thicker letters) 4c. on 10c., and type III (11mm. thinner letters) 4c. on 10c., each with label at foot and handstamped "Specimen" diagonally in black or violet, fine to very fine mint (the first without gum), a couple of negligible faults. Rare. Ex Laurie Franks, each with "SR" (Samuel Ray) handstamp on reverse. Chan FEB4, FEB10, FEB17.
