This mounted collection of a couple hundred different to the mid 1950’s on homemade pages, include several shade varieties. The serpentine issues are much better quality than what is normally encountered. It starts all used to the early 1890’s then it is mostly mint to the end. Highly specialized collection of around 500 items mostly mounted on quadrille pages. The emphasis is on plate varieties, shades, inverted watermarks and perforations. The cancel enthusiast should also take note. All this primarily surrounds the 1875 Coat of Arms issues to the Lion types of 1917-30. (Image)
