KISHANGARH: 1895 native cover registered with India QV ½a green x7 (6 on the reverse, one torn on opening) tied by seven fine to superb strikes of 'KISHENGARH/15JL/95' Squared Circle d/s, boxed 'R / KISHENGARH' cachet on face, 'PHALERA' arrival b/s but then endorsed "Refused/Returned to Sender" in red ink on face, minor faults. Kishangarh did not commence issuing its own stamps until 1899. [Phalera, now Phulera, is at a mid-way point between Kishangarh & Jaipur]
KISHANGARH: 1909 usage of India KEVII ½a Envelope registered with India KEVII 1a strip of three on the reverse & all tied by four fine strikes of 'KISHANGARH/16JA/09' cds, boxed 'R / KISHENGARH' cachet on face (note different spelling), 'MHOW/REC'D/23JA09' arrival b/s, a little roughly opened at right. [Kishangarh issued its own stamps from 1899, but these were valid for internal mail only]
