Forgeries. The written up collection of 1849-92 issue forgeries including 25c and 1f sheets of 48 containing both 1849 and 1852 issue forgeries, tete-beche pairs, postage dues, a few French Colonies General issues, also 1928 "Ile de France" air surcharge pair, many of these forgeries very well produced. (269).

French Colonies. 1859-77 Used issues, collected for the cancellations, various lozenge and c.d.s types, stamps include 1871-72 80c (2), 1871-76 2c, 10c (5), 20c, 1872-77 15c (4), 80c (4), etc., some faults (90). Also some early Reunion (29), Algeria and Cameroons cancels, etc. S.G. £4,000+. (119+).

Cameroons. 1941 Vichy issues comprising Air set of eleven, Empire Defence set of three and Petain pair, strips of three (or three singles) of each stamp on five archival pieces, handstamped red "SPECIMEN / COLLECTION / MAURITANIE", all sent as Specimen stamps from Vichy to the U.P.U in Switzerland and distributed by them to member countries, these stamps sent to the Mauritania Post Office. Unique archival pieces, from the Mauritania Post Office specimen stamp archive. (48 stamps).

Congo. 1892-1933 Mint collection, complete with many additional paper and watermark varieties. S.G. 17/D103, £2,000+. (205).

French Somali Coast. 1902-66 Mint and used collection in an album including inverted centres, proofs and colour trials, mint issues largely complete, also a few Djibouti with 1884-1900 Specimen stamps (8), etc. (1,000s).

Madagascar - Diego Suarez. 1890-94 Mint and used collection including 1890 surcharges used (4), 1890 local issue 1c, 5c (2), 15c, 25c (2) used (some creases, set of four with Brandon Certificate, also some forgeries), 1892 postage dues used and postage set mint and used, etc., also some Nossi Be, and Madagascar 1902 Zebu and Lemur colour trials with value shown as 0F (5), a few faults.
