World War II Holding. Attractive three-part gathering of a variety of material. Part One features 600 original or reprinted photos of German military officers who served during WWII, purchased from sources in Germany, and 240 additional photos, mostly autographed, obtained individually from former German WWII military personnel. Envelopes and letters are included to provide a basic provenance. Part Two consists of ten German letters from Concentration Camps Gusen, Ausschwitz, and Dachau. Part Three is a complete sheet of twenty Pfennig Deutsches Reich stamps depicting Hitler’s profile. Overall condition of photos, letters, and stamps is quite high. Should be of interest to topical collectors and historians of the period. (Image)
