1934, Transatlantic airmail crash cover 1934. German Lufthansa seaplane "TABAJOS" crashed in Rio Bay, killing pilot and mechanic. Large format (23x17,5) commercial letter with red machine cancel about RM 16,95 from Dortmund 24.4.34 to Rio. The salvaged mail bearing cachet applied at Rio "CORRESPONDENCIA SALVA DO ACCIDENTE DO TABAJOS"
