Origin cds and manuscript "3/-" sterling on folded letter sheet, rated "1/2" Canada to G.B. & re-rated "1/6" for the 4d added as the British share via Ostende, blue manuscript "18¾" sgr crossed out and rated in red crayon "25" Hamburg schillinge, "Schleswig" was scratched out and replaced with "Deutschland" even though the Ducy of Holstein was under Danish control, it was part of the GPU until February 1854, Very Fine, the earliest recorded letter from Canada to Denmark; with 2006 P.E.S. certificate.
