Cat No:552a

1973-74 Marine Life & Gemstones 10c Star Sapphire with Silver Printing Omitted ACSC 648ch (SG 552a unlisted variety) tied by 'YANDINA/21MY74/QLD-AUST' cds to commercial cover from the Christian Literature Centre, Yandina to WA Buchanan & Co, Brisbane, minor blemishes, Cat $1500 for an unmounted vertical pair one with Silver Omitted & one with Silver Partly Omitted (unpriced as a used single or on cover). With a 'normal' stamp for comparison. The ACSC states in footnote 5 "The silver was omitted from the top horizontal row of Sheet A with partial omission from ... Row 2. The seven right-hand stamps only have survived from this sheet". This stamp is presumably one of the missing three stamps from the top row, or - much less likely - from another sheet similarly affected.  (2)

Cat No:628

1976 Scenes 25c Broken Bay with Black-Olive Printing (Inscription & Value) Omitted ACSC 748c (SG 628 unlisted variety) being the upper-left unit in a complete sheet of 100 (5x20), the four other units in the top row with Inscription Omitted & '25' Partly Omitted and all five units in the second row with varying degrees of omission, folded into thirds, unmounted, Cat $13,500+, for the top row only. Superb & unique. The ACSC states that "A sheet discovered in 1985 showed the top left stamp with black-olive omitted [Cat $7500], and all other stamps in the top row with the colour largely ommited (price $1500 [each]). The stamps in the second row showed a minor degree of omission". This is the discovery sheet, and to our knowledge, no other examples have been recorded. Tom Pieron confirms that only the one example is recorded, Cat £4500 (2008).  (100)

1986 Christmas miniature sheet with Perforations Misplaced 6mm to the Left resulting in a Reconfiguration of all the Stamps including the 'Donkey' being on the L/H Stamp ACSC 1180b, unmounted, in our opinion under-catalogued at $750. [Highly significant - one stamp now bears the '30c' value twice, another has lost it altogether - but not obvious, and much scarcer than the similar error on the $10 Painting]
