Bayswater: 'SAVINGS BANK/17DE/12/BAYSWATER' framed cds (22mm diameter; dot arcs; unrecorded by PMI), largely very fine complete strike on 1d rose on French 'Bordeaux - La Passerelle' postcard to England, minor blemishes not affecting the stamp or cancel. Mount Sir Samuel: 'MT SIR SAMUEL/SP 4/01/W.A.' framed cds (PMI Type CDS 3b), fine complete strike alongside 2d yellow tied by large-part 11-bar Dumb Obliterator on Tatts cover, carried by train with largely very fine 'GOLDFIELDS/SP 9/10/T.P.O.' cds (PMI Type EG 5) transit backstamp [year error; not recorded after 1907], minor blemishes not affecting the stamp or cancels. The Pope & Reynolds (2005) census does not record the use of any Dumb Obliterator at Mount Sir Samuel: it is possible that this may be 12- or 13-bar, but 11-bar appears to be the most likely.
