Specialized Collection / Accumulation of Mint and Used Danish West Indies, displayed on 6 black stock pages. Most of the material is used but there is good value in mint. The majority of the value is in the specialized collection of the 1874-79 issues, with shades, identified Types, postmarks, etc. Our catalogue value for these is as if they were all the first issues, and not the later 1896-1901 printings, so there will probably be a final difference in the catalogue value, also taking into account that we did not value better shades or varieties, of which there are plenty. The lot continues with a selection of postage dues and a page of later issues (these not counted in the total value). We note mint NH blocks (56 stamps total) of #24 (c.v. $896), a lovely used block of #19 ($170), a used block of 5 of #15 ($362) and more.
