Danish West Indies, 1861, 3¢ rose, irregular block of three, in combination with 1831, 2¢ black on cover overpaying the 10¢ West Indian rate from Saint Barthelemy, West Indies to Maine, all tied by "N. York, Steamship" circular handstamps, reverse with "St. Bart, W.I., May 10, 65" docketing in pencil; cover slightly reduced at right, Very Fine, a very scarce origin and unusual usage.
