Czechoslovakia selection from 1919-1948 in a pizza size box. Entails hundreds of mixed mint and used stamps having some backup nicely organized on homemade pages in a binder. What stands out are the roughly forty covers mainly family correspondence from a Jewish family that had lived in Susice (Schuettenhofen) and Kolovec (Kollaustschen) which experienced the Holocaust. Some are annotated who was the sender and mailed to a family member who went to Shanghai, China and then to the US. One 1939 postcard mailed to Chicago from the father who according to the notes did not survive. Includes post war covers mailed to this same person in Chicago. Postal historian will appreciate this holding which is not often seen intact. (Image)
