Bootleg Mail from Cuba to London, group of three 1863-69 unusual covers, concerning sugar trade, written in Havana and Matanzas and posted in London for onward transmission to Genoa in Italy, each bearing a different G.B. franking, 6d, 7d and 1s rates, these being most probably dispatched in London in order to save postal fees, few examples are recorded; in addition three 1842-56 stampless letters to London bearing the double-arc datestamp of the British P.O. at Havana, a very fine group. Cuba stampless postal history group of 32 letters, mostly sent abroad, including triple rate cover to Paris with unusual "GB/3F60c" accountancy marking, double-arc datestamps of the Havana and Santiago British P.O.'s, of which one in combination with scarce Morison & Co. local forwarding agent cachet, ship letters to United States including mail of the "Empresa", mail to England with ship-letter markings, inland mail from various localities including scarce example of Morón and oval handstamp of Mayarí which is unlisted by Tizón-Guinovart, in better condition than usually encountered for Cuba; viewing suggested.

Cuba duplicated mint and used collection mounted on quadrilled pages, starts with two mint and three used Puerto Principe issues, then two mint and one used set of the 1899 overprints (no 226A), the first Special Delivery mint and used, Postage Dues mint and used, some used multiples including 10c on 10c imprint and plate no. strip of three tied to piece and E1 block of six, several covers including incoming US U367 with 1c and 5c Postage Dues, a registered cover with six different values to London, some mint or used entires and postal cards and more, some small faults, many fine-very fine.
