Scott No. 49X1 $22,500 tied by handstamp. ONE OF TWO RECORDED LENOIR PROVISIONAL ADHESIVES TIED BY THE CIRCULAR "PAID" HANDSTAMP. This cover is accompanied by a second cover from the same correspondence mailed a month later bearing a regular issue 1862 5¢ blue (Scott 4) tied by the same "Paid" in circle handstamp.
