Confederacy, Harden's Express/Jul. 8/Macon, Ga. (1861). Oval handstamp on 1860-61 3Ā¢ Star Die Entire to New Orleans, missing flap, Extremely Fine; with 1997 C.S.A. certificate. EstimateĀ  $1,000 - 1,500. Harden's Express Company was taken over by Adams Express before the war, however old Harden's marking were used from Macon and Savannah. A rare usage to New Orleans with no indication of payment of either Confederate postage or the express fee, which was common for express covers used early in the Confederate period. . $0 (Image)
