Mar. 17" cds (Powell type 6i) with matching "Paid 10" in circle on unsealed "Confederate States of America, Treasury Department" semi-official imprint cover to Charleston S.C., Very Fine and rare, unusual usage of the Treasury Department cover, probably used to mail a circular, the "Paid 10" has no apparent meaning and may have been struck on top of a group of circulars, ex-Zimmerman.
