Vert. pair, mostly four margins with couple tiny margin nicks or tears, tied by red "Savannah, Ga./Dec. 8" (1865) cds on small cover used locally, the stamps were not recognized & the cover marked "Due 2" in blue circle at bottom left, cover with original enclosure datelined "Waynesboro, Nov. 28, 1865", Very Fine; with 1969 P.F. certificate. Scott No. 8  Estimate $2,000 - 3,000. A most unusual usage of the 2¢ red Jackson after the close of the Civil War over 5 months earlier. . $0 (Image)
