Blackford, 1st Brigade, Army of the Potomac, Corps No. 2, Winchester, Va.", period docketing in pencil at top, "The last letter ever recd from my dear uncle.", some trivial cover wear, Very Fine and scarce, a very scarce postmark with mixed normal & raised font, Conrad Bush illustrates this cover in his book of Fancy and Unusual Cancels and indicates that less than a dozen covers are known with this cancel tying the stamp, also illustrated in the Collector's Guide to Confederate Philately.
