Cat No:1788 Massachusetts Cent

1788 Massachusetts Cent w/ Period NGC VF Details Environmental Damage. Nice coin overall. Smooth surfaces, even medium-chocolate brown, and no problems other than wear. The environmental damage referred to is simply the minor roughness that appears on so many of these pre-federal copper coins creating only a minor distraction. As we have noted in the past, Massachusetts coinage is usually well-worn indicating decades of use in the channels of American colonial commerce.
